Hospitals Near Cedar Park TX
When you’re in Cedar Park and need to get to a Medical center fast, here are your choices.
Cedar Park Regional Medical Center which is at 1401 Medical Pkwy.
Cedar Park Regional Wound Care Center on 801 E Whitestone Blvd.
Baylor Scott & White Emergency Medical Center on 900 Whitestone Blvd.
Of the three hospitals, the Baylor Urgent Care has an overall 3.3 of 5 rating which is higher than the CPRMC rating of 2.3. Needless to say, people are not a big fan of these hospitals. I suspect the care is fine, but when you get the bill for $10,000 for 3 hours of their time, you panic.
In general my insurance company stated that Urgent Care facilities are much less expensive than going to the Emergency Room. Obviously if you have a serious issue, the Urgent Care will send you direct to the ER. But if you have something like the flu, or need a few stitches, the Urgent Care may be able to save you several hundred if not a couple thousand dollars.
